Design Department Inc. is Heading to Season 10 of Project Pitch It!
We are beyond excited to share some monumental news with our community: Design Department Incorporated has been selected to appear on Season 10 of Project Pitch It!
This April, our very own Brian Leadingham and Patrick Tetzlaff will take the stage to present our latest breakthrough—the Spherical Canister—to the legendary "Moguls."
What is Project Pitch It?
For those who haven’t tuned in before, Project Pitch It is a showcase for Wisconsin’s most innovative entrepreneurs. It’s a platform where creators pitch their businesses to a panel of successful moguls to win support, mentorship, and resources. Being chosen for Season 10 is a huge honor and a testament to the hard work our team has put into reimagining medical hardware.
The Star of the Show: The Spherical Canister
The buzz surrounding the Spherical Canister has been incredible, and we can’t wait to show the Moguls (and all of you!) why it’s a game-changer for the healthcare industry.
Our mission has always been to solve real-world problems through superior design. The Spherical Canister is the embodiment of that mission. When it replaces traditional disposable suction canisters, the impact is three-fold:
- Environmental Impact: It will eliminate tens of millions of pounds of plastic waste every year.
- Economic Impact: It significantly reduces the overall cost of healthcare for facilities.
- Clinical Excellence: Beyond the numbers, it’s simply a better tool. It is stronger, safer, and easier for clinicians to use in high-pressure environments.
Why This Matters
For us, this isn't just about a TV appearance; it’s about visibility for a solution that the world desperately needs. We are committed to making healthcare more sustainable without compromising the safety of the clinicians who keep us healthy.
Mark your calendars! Season 10 of Project Pitch It is scheduled to begin airing Saturday, April 11 at 10:35pm.
A Heartfelt Thank You
We want to extend a massive thank you to Kari Altman, Bev Greenberg, and the entire Project Pitch It team for this opportunity. And, of course, thank you to our supporters, partners, and the clinicians who inspire us to keep innovating.
Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the premiere. We can’t wait to bring you along on this journey!
